Bachelor of Architecture, with emphasis in territorial planning, from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.

Master of Geography from Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia in association with Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi -IGAC.

Currently, pursuing a PhD thesis in GEMOTT about daily mobility and gender in Bogotá D.C, analyzing the mobility characteristics and its dynamics in population groups formed by the caregiver binomial – subjects of care, within what is nowadays called care mobility.

Her academic and professional experience have been oriented in the study, planning, and design of the city from aspects such as urban mobility, accessibility, and cultural heritage; as well as focused on fields such as design, planning, research, and university education.

Her research experience begins since her bachelor, with the program of mobility, Transport and Environment, in the institute of environment studies of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Since then, her research has been oriented to the study of the relationships between transport, mobility, built environment and different population groups within the urban environment.
